SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Sept. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Santa Cruz County Bank (OTC Pink: SCZC), with assets of nearly $1.4 billion, is a top rated community bank headquartered in Santa Cruz County. Today the bank announced its Board of Directors' declaration of a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.075 per share. The dividend is payable on October 12, 2020 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 30, 2020.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2020, Santa Cruz County Bank reported $3.8 million in net income, an increase of 16%, compared to the second quarter of 2019. Return on average equity was 9.65% for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. The book value per share of Santa Cruz County Bank's common stock at June 30, 2020 was $41.47, compared to $30.48 as of June 30, 2019. Shareholders' equity grew to $159.7 million, an $84.9 million increase compared to the same period in 2019. This significant growth was accelerated by the Bank's merger with Lighthouse Bank in the fourth quarter of 2019.
